The EZO Jeans project, a collaboration between Samurai Jeans and UNIQUE JEANS STORE, proudly presents its 12th release:
S510VXJ-Ezo TYPE12-NIPOPO.

This model is inspired by NIPOPO, a traditional wooden doll from the Ainu culture of Abashiri, Hokkaido.
Nipopo dolls are said to bring good fortune and make wishes come true. With this belief in mind, this pair was crafted to become more than just denim—an item that carries meaning, spirit, and luck for the wearer.

■ Silhouette

Based on the S0510XXⅡ, this model features a regular straight fit.
Balanced and timeless, it offers a classic silhouette that works across styles and body types.
Rugged yet refined, it is designed to age beautifully over time.

■ Fabric: 17oz Zero+ Selvedge Denim

The jeans are made from 17oz Zero+ selvedge denim, developed exclusively for this project.

• Strongly twisted uneven yarns for rich texture

• The darkest indigo tone in the EZO Jeans series

• Special selvedge with red glitter + silver glitter threads

• A rough, grainy surface with deep character, designed for dramatic fading

This heavyweight fabric delivers both durability and a highly expressive aging process.

Every detail reflects the craftsmanship and symbolism unique to TYPE12.

• Iron bamboo-style buttons (brown finish)

• Copper and brass rivets

• Leather patch featuring a NIPOPO illustration, combined with brown hair-on-hide

• Coin pocket made from premium steerhide

• Double “seagull” stitching in white thread + silver thread

• Custom pocket bags in indigo asa-gi herringbone and indigo check

Each element is thoughtfully chosen, enhancing not only the appearance but also the tactile experience of the jeans.
